There are so many different exercises that one can choose from while working out in the gym. Although it can be confusing as to which ones to pick, there are a few solid exercises that everyone should know how to do. By the end of this article, you will know how to properly execute upper body dumbbell exercises and help prevent injury while doing these exercises.
Let’s start with the dumbbell chest press. This is perhaps the most commonly thought of exercise when it comes to dumbbell exercises. The one issue that most lifters have with this particular exercise is that they tend to go past parallel with their arms, putting unneeded stress on their shoulders and rotator cuffs. Keep your arms at parallel or above and you will save yourself a lot of injuries down the road.
