Obesity is the 2nd biggest killer of people right behind smoking in today’s society. Something that people lack in there daily lives is exercise which will help change this trend. But there are still many reasons to exercise, if its to get in shape, stay in shape, get ripped, or just to stay healthy. Because if you are healthy, than you are a happy person! This will explain some good bodybuilding exercises for men to help you get that body that women love, and that you will love to have. These bodybuilding exercises for men are coming from a guy that is very happy with the way his body looks, and these are some exercises that I do that have helped me get here, and will eventually help you get there.

Warning: This takes dedication, consistency, and hitting the weights daily. Without dedication and consistency, you will not get the same results that if you had kept to the plan. I have been working out consistently and daily for the last 7 years, yes 7 years, but it is quite worth the results and I am very happy with the way my body looks. viel Gluck! (Good Luck!)

- Also you may have to hit the gym, or head to your nearest store to buy this equipment.

Arm Exercises

Benching Weights: This is my favorite exercise. It works your pectorals, deltoids(shoulders), and them most important arm muscle, the bicep. The bicep will be the most affected, and have you ever noticed on muscular dudes that they have really big roundish thing on there arm? That’s there bicep. Its the muscle that Arnold Schwarzenegger is most famous for. How to do this, is simply lie on your back on a bench (thus the name), grab the grab, wrap your hands around the bar (best hand position is to have the bar on the flabby part of the skin in between the thumb and the pointer finger.) Lift up to get the weights off the bar(be careful not to put to much weight on the bar that it will come crashing down on your chest, best to start light, and add more), and bring it down to your chest, around your nipples, and than push up. Not to fast though, and breathe out as you do. Hold up for a second or two, than bring down slow, and repeat. Go until you can make about one more up, than put the weights on the holder.

Priest Curls: A great exercise for your bicep. Simply, grab a hand weight, find a bench, it would be better if it had a special attachment to the bottom of it that you can rest your arm on, that is sloped down away from the bench, but its fine if not. Once you have grabbed a weight, sit on the edge of the bench, legs spread apart a little bit, grab the weight and tip your arm down a little bit to about a 115 degree angle, than lift up and use your leg as an arm rest, and than bring down, and repeat.

Triceps Push Downs: Also very simple but effective. Simply go to a machine that has has a bar or a rope to pull down, Stand in the middle of it, and pull down.

Dumbbell Fly: Great exercise for your pectorals, and biceps. Life on your back on the bench, and grab 2 hand weights. Start with your arms outstretched to the sides, slightly bent at the elbows. Raise up your arms and slowly uncurl your elbows, as you raise your arms over your chest. Bring down again, don’t forget to slightly bend your elbows once the weights are parallel with your body.

Pec-deck Fly: A simple machine that has a chair, and than two bars that coming down to your sides. Grab the handles, and push the bars inward, and then bring it back to the starting position, and repeat.

Abs

Treadmill: Running is a big once that will help you get better stronger abs.

(Unknown Name): Lie on your back, and use your abs to lift your chest, and head, and also the bottom of your butt that is touching the ground. Breathe in as lift up, and breathe out as you release and lie on your back.

Military Style: Find something to hold your feet, or something that you can slide your feet under. Once you have found something sturdy that can support your weight, all you must do is use your abs to bring up your chest and head to a perpendicular point, and release and go back down. These are the hardest but will also help the most, and once you get stronger abs the more will you will be able to do, and you will have a better set of abs.

(Unknown Name): Again lie on your back, legs raised and bent at the knee at a 90 degree angle. Use your abs to curl in and bring your head to your knees.

Tips

Diet is a big thing, I’m not going to go into that because that is not what my article is on, but it is very key to getting healthy, and especially if you want a six pack, as it is very hard to find.

Pills: It is a bit cheap, but will help you get there faster than usual. I do NOT use supplements, as I find they actually don’t help all that much.

This is about it. These the best exercises that I believe will get you the best results. If you would like more information, pictures, and exercising equipment, pills and supplements, and diet help, please check out my squidoo page.
